Studying at AMATA, located in a stunning area of Cornwall, has allowed me to explore avenues within the creative industry and learn
what it means to me to be a performer.

Following my latest theatre performance in Titus (Matthew McLaughlin), in which I played Lavinia, I became drawn to the exchange between actor and audience: how the shape of a piece may be influenced by the spectators response to the action happening in the space before them.

Looking back, performing at the RSC Courtyard Theatre (Stratford-upon-Avon) in 2008 acted as the seed for my ever-growing interest in artist & audience relationship. This was the first real taste I had of what it could be like to perform for an audience - their response was electric and something that will stay with me through my practice, providing the fuel for future works.
